I am excited to share with you today our family’s go-to company dinner recipe Sweet Chicken Marinade. You may start at one home for drinks and appetizers, and then you will walk to another home for soup and salad and so on and so forth. Traditionally a progressive dinner is done between friends or neighbors, and each person is in charge of a course of dinner. If you don’t know what a progressive dinner is, then let me tell you. I am so excited for you to check out all of their recipes! Add chicken to the bag and place the closed ziplock bag in a large bowl and put in the fridge. Most of the amazing bloggers from the Spring Progressive Dinner are back to share another recipe with you, as well as several new blogs. Combine all ingredients in a large ziplock bag. Sweet and simple, but impressive enough for company! Yum. Reserve and refrigerate the remaining sauce from the bowl to make the glaze later on.This simple sweet chicken marinade is the perfect recipe for summer grilling. Add the chicken to the freezer bag, seal it and let the chicken marinate in the fridge for 2-4 hours. Let the chicken rest, uncovered, for 5 minutes before cutting or eating. Using a meat thermometer check that the chickens internal temp, at the thickest part, is 165 degrees. Once combined, put 1/3 cup of the marinade into a large freezer bag and whisk in 1/4 cup of olive oil. Grill the chicken over medium direct heat for 7 minutes on the first side and 6 minutes on the second side. STEP ONE: Start by whisking together all the ingredients for the chicken marinade in a medium-sized bowl. HOW TO MAKE BROWN SUGAR PINEAPPLE CHICKEN Garnish: Garnish with orange zest, green onions, or sriracha to taste. Glaze: For the glaze, you’ll simply use the marinade from this recipe and whisk in little corn starch. Then season this marinade with some salt, garlic powder, onion powder, and ground ginger. You’ll add brown sugar, pineapple juice, lemon juice, red wine vinegar, low sodium soy sauce, ketchup, dijon mustard, and sriracha (though that one is optional). Cook bone-in chicken breasts for about 8-9 minutes per side and boneless skinless chicken breasts for 7 minutes per side. Add 1 tablespoon oil remove chicken from the marinade and wipe off excess marinade. Pan-Fried Greek Chicken: Preheat a heavy-bottomed skillet over medium-high heat. Remove chicken from marinade place in 9x13 baking dish and bake until chicken reaches 165 degrees. Place marinated chicken, on the grill and turn heat down to medium. Baked Greek Chicken: Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. If you have a temperature indicator, it will probably be around 450. Kris Dovbniak Chef & Recipe Developer Jerk Chicken Marinade: 2 green onions, chopped 2 cloves garlic, chopped Greek Chicken Marinade (Gyro-style). The key is grilling the chicken at the right temperature and for the right amount of time. Marinate your chicken for a minimum of 30 minutes. Marinade: Though the list is long, the ingredients are simple. Cyd says: Preheat your grill on high for about 10 minutes. Both are sweet and salty, while also thick enough to stay coated on the chicken while cooking. You can do this by either pounding them between some plastic wrap, butterflying the breasts in half so you have thin pieces, or just buying thin-cut breasts at the store. If you use breasts, you want to make sure they’re thin. Chicken: For the chicken, you can opt for chicken tenderloins or boneless skinless chicken breasts.
